Our Fees

Where all the ancillary matters and the grounds for divorce are resolved at the first stage of the divorce proceedings, i.e. before Interim Judgment is obtained, our fixed fees are $1,200 (excluding disbursements). 

We also handle Simplified Divorces, where there is an agreement on the grounds for divorce and all the ancillary matters at the start of the divorce. Our fixed fees are $1,200 (all-in) for a Simplified Divorce.

If there is a need for mediation in the usual uncontested divorce, our fees are an additional $1,000 to cover the mediation process, which may be 3 sessions of mediation in the Family Justice Courts, and this includes the negotiations process and the exchange of documents i.e. financial documents.

If there is a need to proceed for the Ancillary Matters Hearing, our fixed fees are $4,000 (excluding disbursements) for the Ancillary Matters Hearing, and an additional $1,000 (excluding disbursements) if there is a need for Discovery and Interrogatories.
 

We also act for Personal Representatives in applying for the Grant of Probate (where there is a Will) and Letters of Administration (where there is no Will). 

We also handle Resealing of Probate applications.

Our fixed fees for applying for the Grant of Probate, Letters of Administration and Resealing of Probate applications are $1,500 (excluding disbursements).

We also specialise in preparing Wills, Deed Polls and witnessing the Lasting Power of Attorney (Form 1) for clients.

Our fixed fees for the preparation of a Will is $250.

Our fee for the preparation of a Deed Poll is $100, and our fee for witnessing the Lasting Power of Attorney (Form 1) is $50.

House calls are also available on request for the drafting of Wills, for an additional fee.

Our fees for preparing Deeds of Separation, Pre-nuptial agreements or Post-nuptial agreements are $500.

Our fixed fees for Appeals start from $5,000  (excluding disbursements) and include the preparation of Court documents and legal representation in Court.
